Zero-Residue Walnuts and Traceability
Thanks to the knowledge acquired during stays abroad, especially in the United States, the Corti Family succeeded in applying cultivation methods that respect the environment, the product, and people.
Today, one of the greatest challenges for agriculture is to market guaranteed products while ensuring that producers comply with strict production standards. Innovative farming techniques are applied in the fields to reduce the use of plant protection treatments, guaranteeing a product free from chemical residues. Every year, at the beginning of the harvest season, the walnuts are analyzed to confirm their zero-residue status.
Furthermore, through a careful and detailed product traceability system, every aspect of production can be monitored, starting from the specific plot of land where the product originates, ensuring optimal quality in the finished product.
Sustainability
Recently, a photovoltaic system was installed on the farm, allowing the use of electricity generated from renewable energy sources for the company’s various production processes. This helps reduce environmental impact and CO2 emissions into the atmosphere while promoting sustainability.
