Agriculture as a Family Tradition

For generations, the Corti Family has devoted itself to agriculture: a long-standing tradition marked by dedication, hard work, innovation, and awareness. One significant milestone came in 1960, when Cleto Corti received official recognition from the Italian Government, presented by the then Minister of Agriculture Mariano Rumor, for the reclamation work carried out at the Marlenzone estate. At the time, the estate – a complex of over 100 hectares owned by the Carlo Gallini Foundation – was managed under lease by the Corti Family.

Carlo Gallini, a prominent figure connected to the local agricultural world, lived at Cascina Marlenzone during the 19th century.

In the 1970s, Natalino Corti expanded the company’s production capacity through the acquisition of the Cascina Matta estate in Bressana Bottarone (PV). Later, during the 1980s, he introduced significant improvements to both estates, particularly through the development of tobacco cultivation.

In 1995, with the company reaching its current size of approximately 200 hectares and with Claudio and Michela Corti joining the business, walnut cultivation was introduced alongside traditional crops, soon becoming the company’s leading production.

In 2006, Claudio and Michela Corti purchased and renovated Tenuta Marlenzone and took full control of the company. They further developed the walnut sales network, directly managing distribution from retail to wholesale and organized large-scale distribution throughout Italy.
