Walnut Grove
Long Rows with Clean, Defined Lines
The walnut tree, originally from the Middle East, has found in the Oltrepò Pavese area a deep and fertile soil together with an ideal climate characterized by hot summers and cold winters.
Agricorti’s walnut orchard consists of long, orderly rows within a landscape defined by clean and precise lines: 36,600 Lara variety walnut trees divided between the two estates of Pontecurone and Bressana Bottarone, covering a total area of approximately 100 hectares.
The orchard is uneven-aged, as the trees were planted at different times over the years, beginning more than 30 years ago. In fact, the first plantation dates back to 1995–1996.
The trees are constantly monitored by specialized agronomists who apply advanced pest and disease control techniques while fully respecting the environment.
