Obtained from cold extraction with exclusively mechanical methods, the oil of our Lara walnuts maintains a delicate flavour.
Only our finest low acid content Lara walnuts go into this treasured condiment, the perfect addition to pasta dishes, salads, raw and cured meats, cheese, grilled vegetables, fish and more, whatever your taste and wherever your imagination takes you. The strictly cold pressing of our walnuts preserves the organoleptic properties of the nut, in contrast to hot pressing which, due to the heating process, might generate more product, but with a loss in quality and the properties of the nut.
Originating from Piedmont and the Aosta Valley, walnut oil is a key ingredient in a traditional dish known as “bagna cauda”. Subtle and delicious, walnut oil is sure to delight even the most demanding of palates, bringing a refined touch and traditional flavour to any dish.
