Why not decorate your home for Epiphany too? Using walnuts and other simple things, you can make fun little Befana witches to hang up!

What you need:

• Walnuts
• Plastic eyes
• Hot glue
• Pieces of fabric
• Cotton wool or a similar padding material
• Needle and thread

Glue the plastic eyes onto the walnuts. If you do not have any, you can cut out small discs of black cardboard and draw the pupil on with a white marker pen.

Take a little cotton wool (or cushion padding material) and put it on the walnuts to make the hair. Put the scarf over Befana’s head by cutting out a triangle of fabric and gluing it onto the bottom part holding it very tight onto the walnut, so you keep the hair still as well.

Using a sewing needle, pass the thread through the top of the scarf, so you can hang up the Befana witches you have made.
