This hazelnut crunch is a fun, calorie-filled sweet treat.
A sure-fire hit with children too, the hazelnuts add a special touch!
250 g hazelnuts · 250 g brown sugar · extra virgin olive oil · 1 lemon wedge
Melt the sugar over a medium heat, mixing with a wooden spoon and removing from the heat every now and then.
Once the sugar has melted, squeeze in a few drops of lemon juice and add the hazelnuts (toasted in the oven).
Mix and pour out onto a marble surface greased with oil. Leave to harden slightly and flatten to the desired height.
Cut into pieces.
