This Nocino Chocolate Cake is very light and can be enjoyed as a dessert or as a tasty snack.
The chocolate makes it truly sumptuous and the Nocino liqueur adds depth.
The cake is quick and easy to make, 15 minutes is all it takes to prepare your mixture.
150 g sugar · 200 g dark chocolate · 50 g plain flour · 50 g potato starch · 100 g butter · 1 small cup of Nocino liqueur · 3 eggs · 1 sachet of baking powder
To prepare your Nocino Chocolate Cake, mix the eggs with the sugar until you have a foamy, even mixture, then sift in the flour, starch and baking powder.
Melt the butter and 100 g of the cubed chocolate in a bain-marie, then add the Nocino and mix.
Combine the Nocino and chocolate with the cake mixture and pour into a buttered and floured cake tin.
Take the remaining chocolate pieces and place on top of the mixture.
Place your cake in a preheated oven at 180°C and bake for around 30-40 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
Sprinkle the cake with icing sugar before serving.
