Obtained from green walnuts harvested in June, when they are still tender and juicy.
Our green walnut jam is prepared by boiling just like the tradition wants, simply adding lemon juice and sugar, without the use of additional preservatives. This process ensures that the particular taste of green walnuts remains unchanged and can be appreciated in combination with fresh or aged cheeses. Also, the sweetness of our jam makes it perfect for the preparation of cakes and pies or as a topping for gelato.
